Voice of Prisoners is an initiative by Nyay Sankalp Foundation dedicated to protecting the rights and dignity of undertrial prisoners people who remain behind bars not necessarily because they are guilty, but because they lack legal resources, awareness, or timely hearings. We work to ensure every individual receives fair treatment and access to justice.

Why This Campaign Is Needed
Undertrial prisoners form a large portion of India’s jail population and face prolonged detention without verdicts. Lack of legal support, documents, and awareness keeps many trapped.

Regular Prison Visits & Assessments
Conduct on-site visits to review living conditions, identify unaddressed legal issues, and collect case details.
Family Assistance & Documentation Support
Help families prepare affidavits, identity proofs, bail paperwork, and legal forms needed by courts.
Legal Awareness & Rights Education
Run workshops and distribute easy-to-understand guides explaining prisoners’ rights and basic legal procedures.
