Transparency and credibility is the foremost benchmark of Nyay Sankalp Foundation and achieved through the implementation of the doctrines of good governance while executing our tasks and activities. We have a four-fold audit and assessment mechanism to ensure that the funds, donations and investments are utilised with utmost sincerity, tranaparency and accountability.
Registration Details
Nyay Sankalp Foundation is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs as a section 8 Company under Company Act, 2013.
Nyay Sankalp Foundation is registered with the Income Tax department under section 12A. The said provisional certificate is valid till AY 2025-2026
All contributions to Nyay Sankalp Foundation are eligible for 50% tax exemption under section 80G of the Income Tax Act. The said certificate is valid till AY 2025-2026
Our NGO is duly registered on the NGO-DARPAN Portal of the NITI Aayog, under the Government of India, which ensures transparency and accountability in the functioning of various non-profit organisations in India.

Making Beneficial Policies and ensuring good governance
From the very beginning, Nyay Sankalp Foundation has been working on an equality-based work culture. Each and every member or volunteer in the organisation is involved in the process of decision making in an egalitarian system.
Making welfare policies & wise decisions in the foundation are done through a four step system.
- Departments & Divisions
Monthly review meetings are held for each division and department regularly. - Executive Committee
The Executive Committee looks after the Foundation’s working straightly and it reports to the Board of Advisors. The members under the Executive Committee are professionals formally associated with our foundation and this is essential in order to be included as a member of the Board of Advisors.
The Executive Committee of Nyay Sankalp Foundation meets once every three months (that is, once each quarter and four times a year) and monitors the day to day affairs. - Advisory Body
The Board of Advisors under Nyay Sankalp Foundation consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds and expertise. The entity is established for a duration of one year, and several distinguished individuals with notable standing and prestige are appointed annually. Members of this Board also convene once every three months. The Advisory Council guides the Trustees of Nyay Sankalp Foundation, receiving consistent feedback from the Executive Committee - Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees establishes the mission and overarching policies for the Nyay Sankalp Foundation and ensures effective governance in collaboration with the Board of Advisors; however, the Board of Trustees does not participate in the daily operations of the Nyay Sankalp Foundation.
Credibility Norms
Nyay Sankalp Foundation urges its collaborators to adhere to Integrity standards to promote sound governance within the development sector. Nyay Sankalp Foundation itself upholds principles of exemplary governance. The Foundation endeavors to enhance the capacities of its grassroots NGO partners to achieve robust governance. The Governance & Integrity Framework comprises a structured set of guidelines, which is overseen and evaluated by a certified Company Secretary.
Project Management & Monitoring system
The project oversight and evaluation system at Nyay Sankalp Foundation consists of structured and clearly defined procedures. These include the following:
- Selection of NGO Partners
Partners are invited to apply for selection in designated locations under specific programs through advertisements on relevant platforms and websites, as well as through referrals from trusted partners and the ongoing “submit a proposal” section on the Nyay Sankalp Foundation website. Additionally, potential partners continuously submit proposals directly to the foundation throughout the year. Initial screening is conducted based on these submissions. - Desk Appraisal
Potential proposals undergo a desk evaluation process within the relevant programme divisions. - Monitoring
Once a partner is chosen for a specific programme, a Memorandum of Understanding is executed, guidelines and initial training sessions are provided, and the project is launched. The project is subjected to a structured and regular monitoring system. The procedures encompass the following steps:

The project monitoring process is succeeded by an impact assessment, conducted internally, and an external evaluation, performed by an independent and professional agency.

Based on requirements, effectiveness, and results, the diverse welfare initiatives of Nyay Sankalp Foundation undergo assessment by independent evaluation firms possessing pertinent expertise on the topic. The following entities have performed external assessment

Audit reports are reviewed with the Board of Trustees, Advisory Board, and the Executive Committee to implement appropriate and necessary actions if needed.
Use of Technology for Good Governance
- Online Monitoring System
Nyay Sankalp Foundation promotes the adoption of technology to ensure unbiased monitoring and reduce overhead expenses. The Foundation has already implemented this system in several of its national-level initiatives. Over time, all its projects will be aligned with this system. The primary obstacles encountered so far include limited access to technology in remote project regions and insufficient technical expertise among grassroots NGO partners. The Foundation is actively working to enhance the capabilities of all its NGO partners and project staff.
- Beneficiaries Management System
An effective beneficiary management system is functioning across 100 initiatives in 21 states of India. This technology is aiding Nyay Sankalp Foundation in monitoring the progress and growth of all beneficiaries in two key national-level programs currently. - Microsoft Groove – the decision making software
Nyay Sankalp Foundation embraces a collaborative and inclusive decision-making approach, engaging all relevant professionals within the organization. Microsoft Groove software has been operational, linking all major offices and divisions, for the past year. - Management Information System (MIS)
A monthly Management Information System (MIS) report is compiled and evaluated by the MIS Officers, and it is presented and reviewed in Executive Committee meetings to assess operational activities and plan for the future. - Accounting System
With the growing integration of relevant technology across each division, department, and project, both quantitative and qualitative MIS are managed digitally. The Accounts Team of Nyay Sankalp Foundation comprises skilled and certified accounting professionals. The accounts are updated daily using advanced, modern computerized systems. These are also periodically reviewed and verified by the internal control system and Internal Auditor, in accordance with standardized HR and Management Policy. - Future Technology
Nyay Sankalp Foundation is investigating technologies such as GPS (Global Positioning System) to track and conduct real-time monitoring of all Nyay on Wheels projects, its nationwide mobile hospital initiative. Next in development is a video conferencing system that will ultimately link all Nyay Sankalp Foundation offices and centers. This will streamline decision-making, enhance monitoring, maximize engagement of all stakeholders—including supporters—and support capacity building and training efforts.
