Nyay Sankalp Foundation is a non-profit organization that works to ensure justice, dignity and legal empowerment for every citizen. We provide free legal aid to undertrials, prisoners and disadvantaged individuals who do not have the opportunity for proper representation. Along with direct legal assistance, we spread legal literacy and awareness of rights through workshops, seminars and public awareness programs. Our aim is that justice should reach every person, irrespective of his social or economic status, and equality, compassion and respect for law should be established in the society.
What is the main objective of Nyaya Sankalp Foundation?
Our core objective is to ensure that every person—especially the underprivileged—gets equal access to justice. We focus on protecting fundamental rights, spreading legal awareness and promoting legal literacy. Through free legal aid, public awareness campaigns and public interest advocacy, we empower people to understand and avail their rights. Additionally, we assist undertrials and prisoners to improve the justice system and promote legal education at the community level.
Who can avail assistance from Nyay Sankalp Foundation?

Our legal team evaluates each application and provides appropriate guidance, representation or consultation. We believe that the basis of justice should be truth and fairness, not economic condition.
What kind of legal aid does the Foundation provide?
We provide a variety of free legal services—such as legal advice, pleading drafting, court representation and assistance in police or administrative matters. Our team visits jails, helps with undertrial bail processes and monitors pending cases. Apart from this, we assist people in RTI, consumer complaints and domestic violence cases. Our aim is not only to settle the cases but also to make the beneficiaries understand their rights and the judicial process.
Is there a fee for your legal services?
No. All legal aid services of Nyay Sankalp Foundation are completely free of cost to eligible persons. Our work is supported by volunteer attorneys, public donations, and institutional grants. We only expect transparency and cooperation. Those who wish to contribute can make our free legal aid schemes sustainable by making a voluntary donation.
How to apply for legal aid?
You can apply in multiple ways—by filling the online form on our website, visiting the nearest office or contacting the helpline number. Upon receiving the application, our legal team reviews the details and assigns the case to the appropriate attorney or paralegal volunteer. If additional documents are required, we guide you through the entire process. Our aim is to make access to justice easy, transparent and barrier-free.
Who is eligible for free legal aid?
Our free legal aid is for those who are economically vulnerable—such as undertrials, prisoners, women in distress, senior citizens, persons with disabilities and victims of human rights violations. Even if you’re unsure, contact us—we evaluate each case objectively and compassionately.

We assist with bail, appeals and legal documentation. Additionally, we also conduct awareness sessions on legal rights in prisons. Our goal is to provide justice to every prisoner with dignity and reduce unnecessary detention.

Yes. We help released prisoners reintegrate into society. We help them get identity cards, connect them with rehabilitation schemes and get vocational training. We believe that true justice is served only when a person is given the opportunity to start a new life with dignity.
Do you handle both civil and criminal cases?
